Community Baby Shower in Newport – Baby Basics Newport
Families in Newport are invited to a special Community Baby Shower hosted by Baby Basics Newport, part of the Newport Multibank by Newport Support Network CIC. The event will take place on Wednesday 27th August 2025, from 11am to 1pm, at The Open Table & Pantry, 92 Commercial Street, Newport, NP20 1LS.

This welcoming event is open to all mums, parents, and carers, offering a chance to connect with others and collect free baby essentials.

 
What’s Available at the Community Baby Shower?
Parents and carers attending will be able to collect:

Nappies and wipes
Clothing and blankets
Prams and pushchairs (when available)
Baby toiletries
Our aim is simple: to give every child the happiest, healthiest start in life and to make sure no parent feels alone.

 
Free Sponge Ducks & Baby Care Accessories Bags
Thanks to a generous donation, Baby Basics Newport also has sponge ducks and baby care accessories bags available.

These items are ideal for:

Play and learning activities
Nurseries, schools, and children’s centres
Health visitors and family support workers
Items are provided free of charge and must benefit children through play, learning, and family support. To arrange collection, please get in touch with Baby Basics Newport.
